A few words about the "OPEN COUNTRY THEATRE" in KAMENI HORA. It was an old dream, dimmed by the years, but childhood dreams are not lost so easily.
The decision to return to my roots, to my place, was to give life to our village with the hope of continuing to do so in the future
The Taverna was initially to give the few remaining respected elders the opportunity to find themselves together again in the sunshine or the fireplace in winter. Meanwhile, it also became the meeting place for rest and entertainment to hundreds of visitors to the volcano.
I thought that this effort should continue with the creation of the Open Theatre, I wanted to give this place the dream-like sounds, voices and colours it deserved.
The result vindicated the toil and anguish spent realizing this dream.
We improved levels of service,and we are strictly committed to quality and originality of the presentations, which, as we hope, will multiply, so that our summers nights are filled with culture and joy.
